Anybody Wonder

About

Late-diagnosed autistic writer and advocate.

After five decades of struggles, trying to find my way in a world that didn't make sense to me, things began to make more sense when I received my autism diagnosis.

After five decades of struggles, trying to find my way in a world that didn't make sense to me, and attempting to shake the writing bug that gnawed ceaselessly at me despite my efforts to ignore it, things began to make more sense when I received my autism diagnosis. I realized that I am not broken; I am different.

Many of the pieces featured here were written before my diagnosis, yet they reflect the incessant information gathering, the pattern-seeking, and the relentlessly curious mental life of a late-diagnosed autistic writer.

More content is on the way as I join the voices of the 'Lost Generation' of late-diagnosed autistics, including my journey as a climate advocate, who finally understand their unique place in the world.

Anybody Wonder is the home for that exploration — stories, essays, and questions that don't explain themselves, for readers who don't need them to.
